5 reasons to buy the 2023 Lincoln Aviator
1. Optional hybrid
Are you not ready to go all-electric? The 2023 Lincoln Aviator meets you halfway, with an optional plug-in hybrid powertrain. Available on the Grand Touring trim, the Aviator hybrid lets you drive up to 18 miles on electric battery power alone when it's fully charged.
If you can charge at work, your daily fuel use could drop to zero. When the battery reserve drops too low, the engine starts and recharges the battery as you drive. It's electric without the range anxiety.2. Luxurious interior
The Aviator's exterior is unique and attractive—have a seat behind the steering wheel for a look at the opulent interior inspired by classic aviation. Behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel is a huge 12.3-inch driver information display, plus a 10.1-inch center infotainment touchscreen. Cushy seats and surrounding trim are high-end stitched leather, with accents from real wood, and satin and polished metals. Heavy soundproofing material isolates the cabin from road noise, while the drive mode selector lets you pick your suspension setting based on mood.
3. Plenty of power
Have a short on-ramp in your morning commute? Even the base Standard trim Aviator has you ready for takeoff with smooth power delivery pulling away from stoplights or passing on the highway. The 3L V6 makes 400 horsepower thanks to twin turbos. The 2023 Aviator hybrid adds an electric motor and battery to the mix, for a total output of 494 hp and a stout 630 lb-ft of torque. It's the hybrid SUV that scoots, with a zero to 60 time comparable to some sports cars, at five seconds flat.
4. Space you need
The 2023 Aviator has three rows that seat up to seven comfortably or six occupants with the optional second-row captain's chairs. You'll notice abundant legroom up front, and ample headroom for tall passengers in the back. With 18.3 cu-ft of cargo space, you can easily pile in your friend's carry-ons. If you're hauling more cargo than passengers, lower the rear seats for just short of 78 cu-ft. That's enough space for a ready-to-assemble queen bed in a flatpack box or moving an entire bedroom into campus dorms.
5. Tech you want
The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is designed to make every drive special with the tech you expect, and the bonus extras. The Aviator has adaptive cruise control and can read speed signs, too. 10-speaker audio is standard but check out the operatic experience from the immersive 28-speaker Revel® Ultima audio system. Optional air suspension lowers the Aviator to make it easier to get in and out of the car, while the available 30-way power front seats offer a massage feature that feels like a day at the spa.
