Lincoln MKC
The MKC was a five-passenger luxury crossover, the smallest SUV in the 2019 Lincoln lineup. Surprisingly, the MKC received a significant face-lift in its final year of production, sporting a style more in line with the rest of the Lincoln brand. Four trims were offered, all with standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive. All trims came with an eight-inch touchscreen running Ford’s SYNC® 3 infotainment system, featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and navigation were available on higher trim levels. The MKC came with some basic driver-assist features, but most advanced driver-assist systems were only available on higher trims.

First generation Lincoln MKC
The MKC was Lincoln’s first foray into the competitive luxury compact crossover segment, slotting into the lineup below the larger MKX and MKT. While the MKC was based on the Ford Escape, it was much more than a rebadged version of the Ford. The MKC had a premium cabin outfitted with leather and wood trim, featuring comfortable seating for front and rear passengers. Standard noise-canceling technology contributed to a quiet, comfortable ride. It was initially available in Premiere, Select, and Reserve trim levels, and the Black Label MKC was introduced in 2017, featuring high-end features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, upgraded leather, and special color choices.
Two engines were offered on the Lincoln MKC. A 2.0-liter EcoBoost® four-cylinder engine was standard on all trims, while the more powerful 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine made its debut in the MKC, and was available only with all-wheel drive on all but the base-level Premiere trim.

RepairPal gave the Lincoln MKC an overall reliability rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, which RepairPal describes as Excellent. This rating ranks Lincoln MKC 3rd out of 18 among Luxury Compact SUVs.
RepairPal reports that the average total annual cost for repairs and maintenance on a Lincoln MKC is $499, compared to an average of $599 for Luxury Compact SUVs and $591 for all the vehicles RepairPal considered in its dataset.
According to RepairPal, Lincoln MKC owners bring their vehicles into a repair shop for unscheduled repairs an average of 0.5 times per year, compared to an average of 1.2 times for Luxury Compact SUVs and 1.3 times for all the vehicles RepairPal considered in its dataset.
