5 reasons to buy the 2016 Lincoln MKC
1. Riding on a cloud
Smooth out the road ahead with a 2016 Lincoln MKC Select or Reserve with the available Lincoln Drive Control system. This combines a selection of technologies to reduce the impact of the road surface on your passengers and make any journey more comfortable. The most advanced tech continuously monitors the road ahead and automatically dampens the suspension. The results are an incredibly smooth ride that does an impressive job of isolating you from any bumps and potholes along the way.
2. A well-equipped standard list
With only three trims, the 2016 base-model Lincoln MKC Premiere offers more standard comfort and tech features than its price tag suggests. Some notables include a 10-way power driver's seat with a memory function, a nine-speaker premium sound system, and brushed aluminum accents throughout the interior. The Lincoln SYNC® 3 system is found in every 2016 Lincoln MKC, with Siri® Eyes Free smartphone integration and Bluetooth® connectivity.
3. Quiet, refined ride
More than just a smooth ride on rough roads, the 2016 Lincoln MKC has an impressively quiet ride. Standard active noise canceling uses microphones throughout the cabin to listen for road noises. Then, the nine-speaker sound system sends out frequencies you can't hear but act to cancel out any outside noises. The result is a whisper-quiet interior, even at highway speeds. When you match that with a cloud-like automatic dampened suspension, the 2016 Lincoln MKC has an airplane cabin-like experience.
4. Modern technology suite
A pair of available packages add a selection of functional tech features to the 2016 Lincoln MKC Select and Reserve trim, building on what you already get in a Premiere trim. The Select Plus Package adds voice-activated navigation, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alerts. Or, the Technology Package (Reserve only) adds a suite of driver assists, including adaptive cruise control, parking assist, and lane-keeping system.
5. Turbocharged performance
While not the most punchy on the block, the 2016 Lincoln MKC offers turbocharged four-cylinder engines with decent power for everyday life. Both engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, and traction-boosting AWD is optional on every trim. Standard is a 2.0L turbocharged engine with 240 hp and an EPA-estimated 29 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.
A 285 hp 2.3L turbocharged engine is also available on any trim. A Class II Trailer Tow Package is available on Select and Reserve models and gives the 2016 Lincoln MKC (with any engine) an estimated towing capacity of up to 3,000 pounds when properly equipped.Shop with your budget in mind
