Even though Mitsubishi did a full redesign for the third generation (2014-2019) two years before the 2016 model release, it’s been generous enough to give this version a major facelift. 1. Revised exterior 

As part of the changes for this year, the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander receives a few exterior styling tweaks. Not only has Mitsubishi included alloy wheels as standard now, but also new front and rear fascias, LED running lights and tail lights, and the GT receives LED headlights as standard. All of this makes the Outlander look significantly more sleek and appealing to drivers looking for a little extra style.

The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander has an appealing interior made up of premium elements and a cool, sleek design. There are minimal hard, plastic surfaces – most are soft and refined — and the infotainment features are competitive within the class. The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander has four trims to look out for, depending on what you look for in a vehicle. The base ES has everything you would expect – including a six-speaker stereo, Bluetooth® connectivity, a USB port, and heated side mirrors. The SE adds tech features that will please you as a modern shopper, including heated front seats and push-button start. The SEL takes things one step further by adding leather upholstery and extra seat adjustability, and the GT is the performance trim, adding the V6 engine, AWD, and a power liftgate.
