The 2020 718 Boxster introduces exciting new trims. The Boxster T is perfect if the base 2.0L engine appeals to you but you’re after enhanced handling from the sports suspension and torque vectoring. The 718 Spyder, on the other hand, is a standout performance vehicle with motorsport-inspired suspension and a powerful 4.0L flat-six engine, making it a dream for driving purists. 

2. Thrilling drive 

The 2020 718 Boxster continues to deliver an unmatched driving experience. It’s agile, quick, and offers a real connection with the road. The Sport Chrono package is worth looking out for if you want to improve handling as it adds a rear limited slip differential. Of course, the powerful Spyder is the most fun option if you love to throw a sports car around country curves or even head to the race track. It features standard active dampers for an agile ride that’s not painfully bumpy over rough surfaces. 

3. Powerful engine options 

Porsche offers a variety of engine options for the 2020 718 Boxster. The 300-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine on base and T models is more than enough for most, but there’s the option of the Boxster S, too, with its 350-hp 2.5L engine. The addition of the 414-hp Spyder model gives you even more choice and allows you to experience the classic Porsche six-cylinder thrill in a car that's all about the joy of driving.

The 2020 Boxster doesn’t hold back on technology options. The base model starts strong with a seven-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, and partial leather upholstery. The T and S models add performance-oriented features like the Sport Chrono package.
