5 reasons to buy the 2015 Scion xB
1. Eye-catching styling
The 2015 xB will make you smile every time you look at it. It’s a compact car with quirky and unique styling, featuring a boxy squared-off roofline, chunky wheel arches, a flat nose, and a van-style rear end. To give the car even more personality, there are seven exterior colors to choose from, including eye-catching shades like Absolutely Red, Sizzling Crimson Mica, and Nautical Blue Metallic.
2. Spacious cabin with plenty of legroom
The boxy styling of the 2015 xB serves two purposes. Not only does it give a unique look to the exterior, but it also offers plenty of space inside as well. There’s seating for up to five passengers in the roomy cabin, with a total passenger volume of 110.9 cu-ft. Everyone can stretch out with 40.7 inches of front seat legroom and 38 inches of rear seat legroom.
3. Large cargo capacity
The 2015 xB not only offers plenty of capacity for passengers but for everybody’s luggage too. Behind the rear seats, 21 cu-ft of cargo volume can swallow up the week’s grocery shopping or your vacation luggage without breaking a sweat. Should you need to transport larger or more bulky items like furniture, the rear seats fold down to increase that cargo capacity to 70 cu-ft.
4. Zippy engine
So the 2015 xB is great to look at and comfortable to sit inside, but what’s it like to drive? Thanks to a potent 2.4L four-cylinder engine under the hood, you get 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque to play with — more than enough to have some fun zipping around town. It’s paired with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, and the latter helps to propel the 2015 xB from zero to 60 mph in just 8.6 seconds.
5. Numerous standard features and options
There’s only one trim level available on the 2015 xB, meaning you’re guaranteed a good selection of standard equipment right out of the gate. You’ll enjoy features like air conditioning, cruise control, a six-speaker Pioneer® sound system with a 6.1-inch touchscreen and iPod®/USB interface, and Bluetooth® connectivity, included on every 2015 xB model. Optional features include several performance parts, foglights, and an upgraded BeSpoke® sound system with smartphone app integration.
