5 reasons to buy the 2014 Subaru Tribeca
1. Comfortable ride
The four-wheel independent suspension makes for a comfortable ride in the 2014 Subaru Tribeca. You and your passengers will be hard-pressed to notice bumps and rough pavement during the drive. A light steering touch helps with responsiveness.
2. Stylish cabin
This Subaru has excellent visibility while being relatively quiet inside the cabin. If you want seating flexibility, you’ll appreciate the 40/20/40-split second-row seats which can slide up and back eight inches. There's also a 50/50-split third-row seat, which is great to have as an option for kids or pets. The front and middle seats feature leather upholstery, and there's vinyl for the third row.
3. Nice standard features
The 2015 Subaru Tribeca also has a power sunroof so you can get more light in the vehicle—great for those backseat passengers who are reading books. The 2014 Subaru Tribeca also has fog lights, heated power side mirrors, heated front leather seats, and driver seat memory functions, as well as rear privacy glass. You’ll also notice Bluetooth® connectivity so you can handle phone calls while driving. It includes a 10-speaker Harman Kardon® audio system and a six-CD changer with satellite radio and an auxiliary input jack.
4. Steadfast AWD
If you can’t let winter slow you down, you’ll probably find yourself needing an AWD vehicle to get around. This midsize car features Subaru’s hallmark symmetrical all-wheel-drive system alongside a 3.6L boxer engine — so you won’t be able to use snow as an excuse when you don’t show up to work or a family party. If you need a little more oomph for passing on the highways, select Sport mode.
5. Good for families
If you have a lot of passengers to get around town—humans or animals—you’ll appreciate that the 2014 Subaru Tribeca accommodates up to seven passengers. With both rows of seats up and in use, you’ll get 8.3 cu-ft of cargo room behind the rear seat. If you’re able to drop the kids off at their grandparents and fold both rows of seats down, you’ll get 74.4 cu-ft of room in the back. Look for available options such as a navigation system and rear-seat DVD entertainment package if you take the family on lots of road trips. The raised roof rails option can support up to an estimated 150 pounds of cargo, which is great if you’re taking a vacation with your whole crew and need to store luggage or bikes.
