5 reasons to buy the 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid
1. A sharp presence
The Avalon Hybrid was redesigned for 2019. The muscular-looking new body has a large front grille and LED reflector headlights. The tapering roofline has a coupe-like look, and the full-width reflector joining the rear lights adds an upmarket touch. The new Celestial Silver Metallic and Harbor Grey Metallic paint colors look classy, but choose Brownstone, Opulent Amber, or Ruby Red Pearl for extra curb appeal.
2. Indulgent interior
The 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid lives up to its premium billing with an opulent interior. The mix of materials creates a luxury feel. This is heightened by the Ultrasuede® seat panels on the XSE trim, and the full leather seats of the Limited trim. All Avalon Hybrid trims, including the base XLE trim, have heated seats. These luxury features make the cabin of the Avalon Hybrid a very comfortable place to be when cruising on the highway.
3. Technology to entertain
Whether you’re on the daily commute, or driving the grandparents home from the theater, the high levels of multimedia technology on the 2019 Avalon Hybrid will entertain everyone. Apple CarPlay® and Bluetooth® connectivity is standard on all trims, along with a nine-inch color touchscreen, five USB ports, and the Toyota Entune™ App Suite with additional smartphone app integration and connected services.
Opt for the top Limited trim to enjoy a navigation system, a 14-speaker JBL® premium audio system, and a 10-inch full color heads-up display.4. A commodious cabin
The 2019 Avalon Hybrid can comfortably carry five people, wherever you’re heading. In the front, you and your passenger can luxuriate in 42.1 inches of legroom, and those in the back will have no cause for complaint with an almost equal 40.4 inches of rear seat legroom. The trunk holds up to 16 cu-ft of cargo and the rear seats fold down 60/40, increasing passenger and luggage flexibility.
5. Exceptional gas mileage
The 176 hp 2.5L gas engine of the 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid is assisted by an electric motor to improve its fuel-sipping performance. Another motor charges the small hybrid system battery. The total output is 215 hp, which gives this large sedan plenty of pace. The continuously variable transmission sends power to the front wheels, and can be controlled by available steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifts to give you more interaction on a solo drive. The Avalon Hybrid XLE trim on 17-inch wheels has an EPA-estimated 44 mpg combined.
