Alternative review
Whatever the other reviewer discovered about his transmission may have been an anomaly. I have driven this car over 12 months, albeit sparingly due to disability. However the one thing that impressed me was the smooth powerful shifts in the mid-range. The car takes off like a rocket between 35 and 75. The 9 forward gears make certain the sweet spot remains in effect throughout this power curve. On another issue, the car can drive itself given well defined lines, such as on well manicured interstates. By drive I mean no hands on the steering wheel. What I don't mean is it reads traffic posted speeds like a Tesla. It does have cross traffic warnings, such as when you back out of a parking spot with two huge vans on either side of you.

There is no other car that can come close at this price for this many features and quality of construction. It is anvil strong!
Ride and Handling
The PAWS (rear wheel steer) maintains an eerie stability on curves and a very tiny turning circle. Together, along with the paddle-shifters, it is track ready if you choose that venue.
Cabin Noise
While the advanced package is downright silent when you stop (given the engine is turned off) the sound deadening in the Tech package is a pearl of a backdrop for the 10 speaker stereo.
CONS
Styling
It deserves to look as though it is prowling the neighborhood as a panther might. Instead , it is looks a tad stately and refined, amsking what is under the hood and in the interior. The back and the front (they ARE narrowing that "beak") should have been carried over to the sides.
