What customers are saying

The 2015 BMW 228 receives praise for its stylish design, smooth handling, and quiet cabin. Buyers highlight its reliability and fuel efficiency, making it a strong choice for driving enthusiasts. However, expensive maintenance, reduced resale value from quick depreciation, and limited backseat comfort diminish practicality for some consumers.

Nice car, hiccup after a week though.

PROS
Seat Comfort

I can sit in it for hours and not get uncomfortable.

Cabin Noise

Definitely quiet

Fuel Economy

40 miles per gallon.

CONS
Cost to Maintain

After a week the thermostat stuck open and I paid $500.00 to get it replaced.

Wonderful upgrade at a great price

Pros: great gas mileage / fuel efficiency (does require higher octane fuel, however) fun to drive / great power and option to drive with "sport" feature enabled great style Cons: backseat is not great for additional passengers so if you need to have a 4-person car on a regular basis and want your backseat to be comfortable consider a larger sedan.

PROS
Fuel Economy

>30 MPG highway

Dashboard

Attractive and efficient - form and function are very appealing.

Weather Versatility

sunroof is a much more practical feature than a convertible for all-season driving

CONS
Cost to Maintain

Replacement of headlamp required service appointment, not excited to maintain parts moving forward

Seat Comfort

backseat is very uncomfortable - does not affect me; but for awareness

Great little car, very clean and at a good price.

The car handles great and plenty of power from the 2.0 liter turbo engine. Much lighter than a 3 or 4 series.
