Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.6 reviews) This car has been excellent in the few months that we've owned it. This is our first BMW and has us considering BMWs for future car choices already. The drive and feel are what make this car great, along with the very sleek styling (black exterior, black interior in our case). The technology and infotainment system are easy enough to use and don't seem as outdated as we expected from a 2011 vehicle. We do not have children and seldom have anyone else ride with us, but the backseat does seem a bit tight for multiple passengers as once. Overall, we've enjoyed driving this car immensely since our purchase. even my wife, who is not a car person, has commented on how much she likes driving the car.

BMW 328i Popular Features

The BMW 3 Series has been grabbing the attention and admiration of drivers since 1975. The BMW 328i appears in the sixth generation of the model line running from 2011 to 2016 as a compact sedan or sport wagon that gives you well-tuned hp in a nicely appointed executive vehicle. The sixth generation 328i represents the entry-level powertrain configuration for the 3 Series and features a 2.0L turbocharged engine with 240 hp and an eight-speed automatic transmission with sport mode. There is also a 328d that brings a diesel engine to the table with all the same convenience features for the car. Rear-wheel drive propels you down the road, or it can also be configured with available intelligent xDrive AWD.

For the sixth generation 328i, the interior can be built with the Sport or Luxury Package. The Sport brings premium synthetic seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, driver memory system, and automatic climate control. A Bluetooth® connection allows for hands-free calling while an HD Radio® delivers the tunes. Leave the smart key in your pocket and doors unlock. Slide in and just press start to turn over the engine. Rain-sensing wipers, fog lamps, and automatic headlights round out the amenities. The Luxury Package gave the 328i a little extra love with chrome exhaust, exterior trim, and upgraded front fascia and grille.

Leather seats are an option for every BMW 328i and come in seven color choices from black with tan piping to a deep brown to sporty red. Navigation and an available Wi-Fi hotspot are included in the available Premium Package.1 Heated seats for the front and back and a heated steering wheel are also part of optional upgrades. Driver assist features such as blind spot detection and lane departure warnings are available, but not standard.

1Wi-Fi hotspots require a data plan to activate and may also require a compatible device. See the owner’s manual or manufacturer website for more information.

Terrible fuel economy. 6 speed auto is awful.

The 6 speed automatic on this model is not very good. The engine revs up ridiculously high before switching gears, which only worsens the already terrible fuel economy. I'm only averaging 17.5mpg COMINED city/highway. I'd expect that from something like an M6, but not a lowly 328i. If looking for a 328 I HIGHLY recommend a newer model that has an 8 speed automatic. I can't stress enough the awful fuel economy of this vehicle. If I could sell it back for near what I paid I would and buy a newer model instead.

A Joy To Drive

Fun to drive mid-size sports sedan! This BMW 328i has plenty of power. Than handling is pure German luxury. I discovered there was a bit of road noise, but that was because of the run flat tires. I've had other BMW's in the past, but this one takes the cake. A pure joy to drive!

Great car

The BMW 328 not only looks great but handles wonderfully. Everything about it is thoughtfully designed. The one small thing I do not like about it is the placement of the cup holders. It's not a deal breaker though. This is, hands down, the most fun car I have ever driven.
