This is my first BMW and it's definitely the ultimate driving machine. The handling is precise and power is quite sufficient for commuting and leisure driving in the mountains. It's so fun to drive, I actually enjoy commuting to work everyday.
It has plenty of room for passengers, but only for short trips.
The interior is simple but very ergonomic. Everything is exactly where it needs to be and intuitive. I only wish there was more storage space in the center console and glovebox. However the amount provided is certainly ample.
Overall I am very happy with my decision to buy a BMW, and I'm not sure I'd want to own anything else.

I just divorced after 18 years of marriage. I'd gone from newlywed driving a 2 door Cadillac to step other driving a 4 door Town Car to brand new baby & step son driving a mini van, to them growing up, scouts, baseball, etc. driving a suburban, to them being teens & one learning to drive, I drove a Chry. 300 4 door. To one in college & moved out & one almost 16 and I just got divorced; so for the 1st time in a very long time; I had to stop & ask myself: WHAT DO YOU LIKE? WHAT ARE YOUR "MUST" HAVES IN A CAR?
DO YOU WANT A LUXURY CAR, A CAR WITH LOW PAYMENTS & GOOD GAS MILAGE? DO YOU WANT SAFETY, SPORTY, FUN TO DRIVE & SAYS,
" SASSY, SINGLE, FUN & CLASS"
I named my divorce gift, "MY TREAT" She's fun, sexy, sporty to drive & looks good on me!

The car is clunky. As soon as I got it on the freeway home I noticed a lot of rattles somewhere in the top mechanism. Nothing obvious so I just deal with it. It's also a bit hard to get in and out of considering my 6'3" frame. No worries on that as I knew that going in. It's why I didn't get a X4.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
