This vehicle is very comfortable and easy to drive. If you have driven any other late model Chevrolet you will feel right at home. It slightly longer than other SUVs in the same class, which gives the rear passengers more room (along with the adjustable seat which helps as well). I've seen other reviewers complain about lack of power, but the Equinox has plenty. I noticed a slight drop in power after filling it with $1,000 worth of IKEA furniture, but it still handled well on the interstate. If you're comparing it to a larger SUV with a powerful V6 (or even V8) then yes, it doesn't have that much power. It's all about perspective. Comparable gas mileage to other SUVs in the same class.

I've only had it for a day. So I'll come back an update my review if need be. So far this is my favorite car that I've owned in my 41 years of life. It rides very smoothly and handles very nice. It has all the bells and whistles also. Remote start, heated seats, memory seat, rear view camera, and lane departure/collision warning. The seats are very comfortable. It has plenty of leg room wherever you sit.
Great SUV for both style and perfomance

Great styling both Exterior & Interior. One key that I think is important for all Equinox prospective buyers to check out is the optional V6 putting out 310hp. I test drove the 4 cylinder model, but it seemed sluggish in highway passing power and for times when you that little extra "boost" in town. I also feel that the V6 engine will work less hard and I should be able to put more miles on it versus the 4 cylinder. Not as bad as the old Volkswagen bus that was dangerously under-powered with a 4 cylinder engine, but the V6 won me over the 1st time I drove it. You might have to look around to find one, but it is worth it. We found ours in Ft. Worth, and had it transferred to Kansas City. Great decision!
