2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500Jeff - Eufaula, OK01/05/2015
The extended cab is noisy, it has wind noise as well. Fuel mileage doesn`t live up to the sticker with the 5.3 V-8 engine. 13mpg in town, 16mpg highway is the best I have done. when pulling a small trailer the truck is sluggish and fuel mileage dropped to 9 mpg.
Put 300k on this truck with 6500lbs on it.
2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500Donkey - Charlotte, NC11/18/2010
I am "Have ladders will travel". Bought this vehicle from Carmax in Charlotte, NC, my daily work can take me home to Charleston, SC or up the mountains to Boone, NC. GVW was 6500lbs and sometimes I tow a gutter machince up the mountains. This truck rocks. Only changed out a coil pack (1) for about $400, and oil pump at about 250k. I WORKED THE HECK OUT OF THIS TRUCK!!! Only drawback was the odometer breaks around 70k, in every truck. There were 20 of them where I worked, and almost all of them were broken. Make sure you check if the recall work was done before 90k. The fix costs almost $700 and can only be done at the dealer. That's why I gave a 4 on quality.
2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500GMFAN - Atlanta,GA06/22/2009
This is a superb truck.I asolutely adore it.It rides excellently, even for a truck. It doesn't have revolutionary exterior looks, but the interior is amazingly high quality.I test drove a new Ford F-150 and it didn't drive naely as good as the Silverado. And the Silverado's interior is way more impressive. And also,If pickups aren't your thing, but want the same body frame and style a a silverado, look for the Tahoe,or Suburban SUV.They're pretty similar to the silverado, except it's an SUV.
