Dream Truck

I use this truck for all my outdoor activities (fishing trips, hiking, backpacking) as well as transport to work in the mountains. Great reliability and versatility. The Crew Cab provides plenty or interior space for carpooling with my crew and/or the family dog; and can haul all gear and then some in the bed.

Chevy Silverado

I was looking for a very low mileage 4X4. I found my 2009 Silverado with 6400 miles. I was particularly happy because it was a very clean, basic WT. I waned to be able to build it into the truck I felt I needed for my retirement. The only option it still needs is a good Class IV hitch so I can tow my trailer. It came with lots of up options such as the 4.8 liter V8, power windows and locks, etc. I have added a LineX bed liner, tonneau bed cover, steps and new wheels and tires. The only issue was the OEM tires, Goodyear Wrangler ST's. Those tires were positively dangerous and I believe that D.O.T. should recall them. I hated to have to spend the additional money, but the truck couldn't be safely driven on any but completely dry roads, and definitely not off-road. Why would the manufacturer put basically street tires on a 4X4??? Overall, I love the truck and would recommend a Silverado to anyone.

LTZ Chevy Silverado

Pros: Great power, plenty of features, ready to customize of the lot, color is easy to keep clean, decent price. Cons: underside had seen salt water and unable to clean due to opposite material, Chris apply tires installed and needed replaced, lots of recalls, Overall, I love the truck. Very comfortable, capable vehicle.
