About the Chevrolet Tahoe Premier

Vehicle Summary

Torn between choosing a pickup truck or an SUV for your next vehicle? With a full-size SUV like the Chevrolet Tahoe (which is built on a rugged, truck-like frame), you can truly enjoy the best of both worlds. This three-row SUV offers the space you need to accommodate your growing family without sacrificing utility in the process. In fact, depending on the specific trim and configuration you opt for on the Tahoe, you can find models with seating for seven, eight, or even nine passengers.

Looking for a Tahoe model with some extra luxuries? The range-topping Premier trim debuted in 2017 as part of the Tahoe's fourth generation of production (2015-2020). This particular trim boasts plush second-row bucket seats for a seating capacity of seven people, as well as a 5.3L V8 engine at 355 hp. Looking for even more power? A 6.2L V8 was also optional on some model years, so you may be able to find used models equipped to suit your needs. Regardless of engine, every Tahoe Premier was offered with either rear- or four-wheel drive, so be sure to explore used 4WD models if extra traction is on your list of must-haves.

Overall, a used Chevrolet Tahoe Premier is an excellent choice for large families with a serious need for space, utility, and sleek style. Offering up to 94.7 cu. ft. of maximum cargo space on its 2017 model, this roomy, versatile, and well-appointed SUV is designed to impress.

Reviews for Chevrolet Tahoe

Overall Rating

4.5 out of 5(241 reviews)

2007 Tahoe

I've driven trucks for 24 years - this one is good. Brakes to acceleration perform well, regardless of driving conditions. After having suburbans, I miss the extra room behind the 3rd row seating. Those seats fold down, but groceries tend to fall between the 2nd and 3rd rows. Headrests hamper view for quick looks before lane changes but you learn where to look. the side rear window defroster is a great idea. Acceleration is improved over previous models and handling is very responsive. Interior buttons, etc., are easily accessible without being distracted, especially radio controls. Overall, I really like this truck.

2005 Chevy Tahoe LS

I am very happy with my Tahoe purchase. The vehicle has all of the options and upgrades that I was looking for in my vehicle including very low mileage, a powerful 5.3L engine, leather interior, and plenty of interior room.
