Too much stuff on it that's hard to figure out. The radio system and phone system instructions aren't written for the average person. The car rides good. The battery and certain areas of the engine are very hard to access. Even the dipstick comes out crooked because of poor access. It gets ok gas mileage. The controls are hard to figure out and operate.
SUV style, sedan mpg
2013 Ford EscapeTimothy Baker - Leesburg, VA09/10/2016
This car is great. Has all the features you would want and need. It has the capacity of most SUVs in the same range, but has really good gas mileage in my honest opinion. I get about 20-22 mpg on a good day, which gives me a range of 280-330 mpg. It really depends on your aggressiveness with the gas, but it has good range. The cabin is very quiet, and you can feel how your car is driving, but don't feel the small bumps like many older cars.
Not comfortable for passengers

You cannot role down the windows without hearing all around pressure inside and outside the vehicle. It's hard to explain it unless you've driven or been inside the vehicle plenty of times. This is the only car that I get car sick in either in the passenger seat or the back seats, and it's not just me who has felt this way. I don't know why, but I won't even be doing anything like reading to make me sick, it's just being in the car for a long time. say a half an hour to feel this way. Another con for me (even though it's a safety precaution, which I understand) is that you can only connect your phone through bluetooth when you're at a complete stop or parked, the passenger cannot do it for you while you're driving.
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
