2007 Ford Expedition ELTow Girl - Chattanooga, TN06/12/2012
I love my Expedition. I purchased this model because I needed a vehicle that will tow an 8,000 pound camper and a 22 foot boat (not at the same time!). It was the best value to for the buck. I was originally looking at the Tahoe and Yukon, but they are not rated to pull the weight I needed to pull. Gas mileage is about what I expected. I would definitely buy another Expedition.
So far, I have not been disappointed.
Great vehicle at an excellent price.
2016 Ford Expedition ELSylvester Jackson - Woodbridge, VA05/01/2017
It has a lot of options, the ride is incredible, it has a lot of space as I am a big guy and have three kids and three dogs to haul around and sometimes towing. The gas mileage is great and the turbo is very smooth and responsive. Great safety features for my entire family even for my teens who drive and everything being hands free and can connect to their smart phones.
I don't know about cost of maintenance yet but our mechanic checked it out when we purchased it as he does all our used vehicles and was impressed with what Ford has done with this model and year and cost to maintain should be normal.
I would like to see one additional thing on this vehicle and that is about a 2 more inches in suspension ground clearance.
The perfect large SUV for a growing family
2014 Ford Expedition ELAnna - Covington, LA03/28/2015
This is great car! We chose the Expedition EL because it was the only large SUV my husband could fit in. He's 6'8" tall. I'm 5'5" and am very comfortable driving it. We have one child now but would like to have more children and know this is a car we will love for a long time. The Limited version has so many super convenient features that we love - reclining 2nd row seats with seat heaters, power folding 3rd row and power lift gate. Awesome car!!
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
