Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) if someone didn't know much or hadn't had a nicer SUV before, then they would like it. or if they liked driving ford trucks. But for me, it was boring, top heavy, missing features, slow, hard to take turns, styling hasn't changed since...ever, looks like an Explorer King Ranch Edition is nice, i guess, only difference is brown saddle leather seats, which feel like sitting on a saddle...on a horse, very hard, not comfortable, i could never get comfortable with the seat/steering wheel location, never felt like the right spot. Every bump you hit left aftershocks that bounced on forever. Had this for 3 months, tried to like it, sometimes did like it, then realized, i just didn't like it...

Awesome Truck!

Despite having high mileage, this car runs like new! My Jeep Commander that I bought for my wife brand new was always in the shop but the Expedition has only given us one problem but it was a problem that could've happened with any car. Mine and my wife's favorite thing about the Expy is that it doesn't drive like a rig. It handles turns with minimal lean and has good power. Only thing I hate about it is the position of the steering wheel. I'm 5'9 and feel like I have to drive like a grandma since the wheel is so far away. Definitely one of the best cars we've had in the family.

2003 Ford Expedition

I traded in my Mini Cooper convertible for the additional space and poor weather performance necessary for a working parent and haven't regretted it one minute. The Expedition has so many different seat configurations (with the seats folding flat for maximum cargo usability) that I can fit my daughter's soccer team pals, all their cargo, and the family lab at the same time with everyone comfortably watching the factory installed DVD player (with wireless headsets!). For such a large vehicle I have been surprised at how well it turns and navigates in tight spaces and I feel confident that I can see each corner of my vehicle given the adjustments to the driver's seat. While I will miss my "rag top" this summer I look forward to lots of ski trips this winter!

People Mover , Grocery Getter, Road King

When asked to describe the benefits of this vehicle versus the drawbacks, the benefits far out weigh the drawbacks. First, Ford has got in right this time around. The Ford Expedition has been around since 1996 and this new model was restyled and redesigned all new for 2003-2006. Second, the powertrain is awesome a 5.4 L 8 cyl. engine that can tow over 8000 lbs, carry up to 8 people and also be the the biggest vehicle on the road most times. Thirdly, this vehile has excellent styling from the standard leather material on the Eddie Bauer to the 17 inch wheels standard on most all models. Overall, the Expedtion is a great value for the money. Drawbacks were few such as the poor fuel economy, Ford's tendancy to closely style it like it smaller couterpart, the Explorer, and the sometimes awkward unavailabily of a large enough parking spot. Other than those few drawbacks the Ford Expedition is an excellent people mover, grocery getter and road king in its own right. I endorse it for people with families.
