I have the 2008 Expedition Eddie Bauer and I LOVE IT!!! With 2 kids and 2 dogs and moving alot for my husband's job, this is perfect for us! I can tow, have plenty of space inside for everyone and the turning radius is great...better than my Mom's Escalade! I also love that the 3rd row folds flat...it's there when you need it and stored in the car flat if you don't. I also utilize the key pad on the outside drivers door...just lock the keys in the car at the beach, soccer games, when I go running on a trail etc. It is fully loaded so the kids love the DVD player and I'm enjoying the Sirius radio. It doesn't have the "SYNC" but I can still plug in my iPhone and use the voice commands to play songs through the radio. I'm not as fond of the navagation system and how it routes you, but that's only because I've had a Garmin Nuvi for over 6 years now and I'm used to it. Would buy this vehicle again in a heartbeat!
I have 187,000 miles on my Expedition. I live in the hot desert and drive 30% on dirt roads. The air condition blows cold air. The truck can still do a burn out. It can turn a circle like no other SUV. Easy to manuever in any parking lot. I have changed the oil every 4-5K, Had all spark plugs coils replaced because they will pop off after a while. Look it up on Google! After that no other problems at all unless you count my leaking anti freeze from somewhere and the fact that the 4X4 will engage whenever it wants. My radio works when it wants to and my speedometer is blank 90% of the time. Other than that it really is a great car. I use the 4x4 once a week I drive the car hard and it responds.
I purchased my 2005 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition on January 29, 2011, and my family and I love it. It had 36,000 miles on it and it runs great. I couldn't decide whether to get an Expedition or Tahoe, but I'm so glad I chose the Expedition. The only negative thing I have to say about having a SUV is the gas, simply because gas prices are high right now, but other than that it was worth it anyway!!!
