Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.6 reviews) The ease of entry and exit from the Flex is the best I've experienced. I'm 5'11" and I just slide in and out. It is very comfortable with the large seats and I don't experience the fatigue on long distance drives that I did with my previous vehicles. The head room is more than ample so for a tall person should give this vehicle a look. I also love the the flexibility of the seat configurations depending on my need at the time.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.6 reviews) We bought this car because we are moving to Mexico and plan to do a lot of traveling. We wanted a roomy and comfortable road car with plenty of room for two very big dogs and all the usual stuff. We looked at all the larger SUVs and nothing compares to the Flex for space versatility and design. It drives beautifully. And, with the rear and side sensors and back-up camera, it's easy to park and there are no functional blind-spots. I think the Ford Flex is a largely undiscovered gem. If you are looking for a roomy and easy-going car, check out the Flex.

What a Great Car!

We bought this car because we are moving to Mexico and plan to do a lot of traveling.

Pros

  • Interior Space: Big and flexible inside, a lot like the '60s station wagons I grew up with.
  • Styling: OK, the Flex isn't to everyone's taste, but I think it looks great.
  • Ride and Handling: This is a smooth and comfortable car with a friendly personality and, for a car its size, easy and predictable handling.

Cons

  • Technology and Entertainment: The Sync with MyFord Touch system is a little anti-intuitive and takes some getting used to.

got some problems

I bought this car with 105k miles. it now has 108k and sputters when you accelerate. the check engine light comes on then goes off and then comes back on. it was wonderful for the first few weeks... now I wish I would have gotten something different.

Pros

  • Technology and Entertainment: great sound system

Cons

  • Reliability: it sputters and jumps when when accelerating.
