Never thought I would ever drive let alone own a Ford anything. Bought this used. After test driving one with a the turbo engine, I had to have that feature. Roomy, comfortable, stylish, reliable, and very functional family wagon. Not great on gas mileage, but not that bad either (realistic 18mpg avg - AWD, turbo). Backup camera is essential; I wish they had it on the front as well. Opt for all of the bells and whistles, you'll be glad you did. The SYNC function could be better (maybe more frequent software updates) and I'd like to increase the harddrive size (10GB) on the jukebox feature, but at 50K miles with no issues regarding performance or maintenance, it's a great value. I'm quite happy.
Unbelievable options & power.

The payload is massive, & easily accessible with electric multi-positional seats. So many individual sun/moon roofs. The vehicle will park itself. Love the wireless headphones & "Sound Around" for the rear DVD players. 365 horse, AWD all you need. Helped me most of all with easy egress after my major back surgery. You will love this vehicle. Get one before everyone figures it out.
Interesting benefits to the Flex

This car is like a nice minivan but without the minivan stigma. It also rides extremely well. It's not fancy but perfect for our family of 4 with a lot of interior space. Way more space than we realized. We think it looks cool. It's not very fuel efficient and it doesn't have a lot of pickup but overall we do like it a lot.
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
