This is a great family car. Basically a fancy station wagon. But, with any high mileage car, buy the warranty! Our front transfer case went out 45 days after we bought it. $5,600 repair cost us $300 of deductible. Warranty paid for itself twice over i he first two months.
really love it!
2009 Ford FlexS. Hooper - Los Angeles, CA03/22/2016
This is perfect for families, camping, beach, taking dogs, sports teams, grandparents. It does it all. We've owned 3, and I would buy a 4th. We still own the first '09, the other two were company cars on a lease. My '09 has been the most comfortable and smooth of all the years' models we've owned. the '13 we have now has a much stiffer ride. This '13 will be turned in for a '16. At 75,000 the recycled-air trap door behind the glove compartment has begun to click (found the fix online, easy to do) and the rear passenger door (curbside door that is used all the time) electric lock/door handle is acting up. Those are the only issues I've had in 7 years.
Love this car so much.

I can't say enough great things about this vehicle. It has great styling and wonderful features, is a very comfortable ride (even for back and third seat passengers) and offers flexibility in seating arrangement and cargo room. For a car its size it still gets decent gas mileage in town and on the highway. It's solid and dependable and I love it all over again every time I drive it. Get lots of questions from other drivers who want to know what it is!
