On a scale of 1-10 when it comes to features and options, CarMax rated it as a 9. There was a similarly optioned Denali (rated as a 10) that had a sunroof, collision avoidance, and many other tech features that I didn't really need or want. So this truck being one or two steps down from a GMC Sierra Denali was the most truck for the money. It's that perfect balance between luxurious comfort and the truck being a TRUCK. I had my heart set on finding a nice F-150 (which I still might buy one day) but my GMC Sierra had everything that I could want except for rear climate controls. Being that GMC is somewhat of the luxury upgrade to a comparable Chevy, sometimes I feel like I'm part of an exclusive club when I see other GMC's on the road that are similar to mine. The bed has built in lighting, the bed and inside of the wheel wells has the spray on liner, it has exterior courtesy lights, ventilated and heated seats, and just about every modern amenity.

Pros

Technology and Entertainment: Overall it's a nice vehicle that's able to integrate with you "tech" life if you have multiple devices as well as subscriptions to Pandora and Sirrius XM. When I have to use the voice feature on my smart phone, not only does it know to turn the radio down but it also lowers the speed of the AC/Heat blower so that if I'm using the speakerphone feature, the amount of interference minimal. The Bose stereo system sounds GREAT, The technology and entertainment parts of the vehicle makes it a joy to take on long trips.
Seat Comfort: The seats are very comfortable. Any time we go on long trips we rarely need to make a rest stop.
Interior Space: It has plenty of interior space!

Cons

Styling: I get a lot of compliments on my truck even though I'm not 100% in love with it's exterior appearance.
Cost to Maintain: The engine has a few quirky things that are just typical for GM vehicles with the 5.3 and 6.0 LS engines. The lifters often get stuck which creates a tapping noise. Sometimes it can be fixed with an oil additive. Sometimes the lifters need to be replaced. Even though many owners have reported being able to successfully drive hundreds of thousands of miles with this issue without a breakdown. But regardless, it's still an expensive repair.

Pros: The GMC Acadia is very spacious. I really like how the rear seats fold down to be able to carry large items in the back. Cons: The vehicle does not accelerate as quick. Seems like you have to mash the gas to be able to pick up speed when going from a low MPH to faster. The gas mileage is terrible. The brakes for this size vehicle is not good. You have to mash on the brakes to come to a sudden, complete stop.

Pros

Cabin Noise: Very quite
Interior Space: Very roomy
Styling: Nice classic design

Cons

Braking: For this size vehicle, the breaks are not most appropriate. Seems like you need to apply a lot more force to bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
Ride and Handling: The engine is too small for this type of vehicle. Preventing it from taking off with ease.
Fuel Economy: Not very good Fuel Economy

Pros, great to have the long bed, it's a lot quieter in the cabin than expected especially for a truck. It does get good mpg for a truck but it's still an issue. I have the 5.3l V8 and test drove the v6... the v6 is not powerful enough for an unloaded truck let alone if you need to haul anything. The 5.3l v8 does great but at the mpg expense. This truck rides like a truck. Do not expect to gracefully go over bumps and pot holes, this suspension is meant to haul stuff not be dainty.

Pros

Reliability: It works and I have had GMC before that lasted into the 300 and 400k mile range with just regular maintenance
Cargo Space: I have the long bed, love the room I have to get stuff hauled around.
Power: The multi displacement engine works its magic to get decent (for a truck) mpg but gives plenty of power when needed.

Cons

Fuel Economy: It's a truck MPG isn't going to be good.
