The 2017 GMC Acadia excels in interior comfort and advanced technology, offering smooth handling, quiet cabin, and adaptable seating. Cargo space behind the third row is limited. Fuel economy and reliability receive mixed feedback, with some reporting costly transmission issues. Overall, the Acadia remains a compelling option for families seeking versatility and style.
it is very smooth on the rough roads here.
I love having three rows of seats. It’s roomy and very comfortable inside.
it has more bells and whistles than I needed. But I love everyone of them.
there is not as much cargo space behind the third row of seats as I would like. It does open up to a lot of space when you fold that third row down flat.
There is pretty much zero noise from the outside world that comes into the interior. So peaceful!
I put in a K&N Air Filter into it, but even before that it was giving me about 25mpg on the highway. Now, it's gotten bumped up to 28-30mpg even at Texas interstate speeds.
Having the Bose premium speaker system in the vehicle is a total game changer for my vehicle ownership. This is my first vehicle with it equipped with the Bose system, and being a Bose fanatic with multiple Bose products already, adding this was a mind blowing experience. Every song comes out perfectly distributed in the vehicle and with completely clear audio as well. In addition, the GMC Infotainment center is awesome as well. I'm primarily an Android user, but I also prefer the way Apple organizes music, so I also own an iPod. With a little bit of trial and error, I found that linking my Samsung Galaxy phone via bluetooth and directly plugging in my iPod, I got the best of both worlds. The album art on my music displays on the screen and the system transitions seamlessly when I receive phone calls. It also displays texts as well. Here's another thing that I found out. I can use Android Auto and STILL be able to use my iPod for music. This was something that the rest of the internet said it was impossible. The great thing about it aside from the obvious is that by plugging in both devices, both also get charged by the vehicle as well, so on roadtrips, I get Android Auto for my maps, messages, etc, my iPod for my music, and when I get to my destination, my devices are charged. And the awesome part too is with the LED information center in the dash, I can also choose to see the song information, complete with album art if I so choose. It's just awesome!
I also own a Chevrolet Suburban, so this may be slightly biased, but the cargo space leaves a bit to be desired. It's fine driving so, but there would be no space with more than 4 people in the vehicle. Additionally, in order to fit slightly bigger items, I always have to fold down one or both of the 3rd row seats. Definitely not a deal breaker, but just a slight inconvenience.
