What customers are saying

The 2019 Honda Passport offers smooth handling, spacious cargo and cabin areas, and stylish design. However, frequent critiques include below-average fuel economy, dated technology, and occasional reliability hiccups, such as stereo malfunctions. Ideal for comfort and versatility, but buyers should watch for maintenance costs.

It IS a Honda, after all...

Honda's quality and reliability is what attracted us to this vehicle, and it has not disappointed us. We have owned a Honda automobile without interruption since 2001, and although we have tried other makes, we continue to come "home" to Honda. I also own a Honda home generator and a Honda lawnmower, so it's safe to say that I'm absolutely sold on the brand.

PROS
Cargo Space

We chose this vehicle over the Acura MDX at the same price-point because of the Honda's under-deck storage and more sport-like cargo space.

Reliability

It's a Honda. With regular, routine maintenance and upkeep, it will last for 300K miles, easily.

Technology and Entertainment

By far, this is the most capable tech and entertainment packaged vehicle we've ever owned.

CONS
Fuel Economy

For the size of vehicle, fuel economy is not wonderful compared to other comparable makes/models.

Cost to Maintain

The Honda dealership maintenance prices are sky-high.

Visibility

It can be challenging to know exactly where the front bumper is when pulling forward toward a wall or pole.
