It's great to find 4WD in an SUV with normal front wheel drive. The visibility is excellent because of the boxy styling. This styling also allows easy access to the interior without bumping your head, which is easy to do on the newer, "sleek" and sloped windshield styles. Also, great cargo space with the 3rd row seats folded down. Plus, a lot of nice technology features.
While not as long front-to-back from the 2007 Honda Pilot it is replacing it is like all Honda vehicles very reliable with sufficient cargo space and power to carry home repair construction materials. Also great for handling loads of camping gear and passengers to include the dogs on long cross country trips.
We got the 2WD and should have gotten the 4WD, but we were on a budget. It's a great car- love the rear entertainment center for the kids. Don't use the Navigation because it's tedious to set up a destination- easier just to use Waze on my phone. It was a great price for a Touring edition- but because it was 2WD- a car that was originally from California. Now I now why it was turned in. Not great in winter conditions. Won't make that mistake again!
