I love everything about the Ridgeline. Before purchasing the Ridgeline, I owned a Toyota Tundra but found it was just too big and mine had problems with rust in the truck bed. Unless you need 10,000 pounds of towing incapacity the Ridgeline is a great medium-size truck. It drives more like a car and is easier to park and see what is just in front of you. I love the in-bed trunk and the composite bed that will not rust. The seats that pop up rather than folding down make it easier to transport items in the cab. It also gets much better gas mileage than the tundra. I looked at the 2016 Ridgelines before buying the 2014 and must say that I am very happy with the older model.
Although Honda says this is a truck it rides like a car! I wanted a vehicle that I could use as 99% travel and that occasional 1% to haul things to the dump or transport larger items than what would fit in the back of my SUV - the Ridgeline answers it all.
I moved to the mountains and needed a vehicle that would handle the mountain roads in all weather conditions. I wanted the comfort, passenger capacity, and drive of a car, but needed the storage provided by a truck. I can only have one vehicle. The Honda Ridgeline is the perfect vehicle for me. The Honda Ridgeline has a uni-body construction meaning the cab and bed are one piece rather than separate attached pieces. So, it drives like a car. It seats 5 people comfortably. It is 4 wheel/all wheel drive, so it handles all types of road conditions beautifully. It is a mid-size truck, so parking is not a problem. I like the well-lit, easy-to-read dashboard display. My favorite feature? Honda designed this truck so that the bed is elevated above the wheel wells. So, when you put things in the bed of the truck, the wheel wells don't get in the way. This leads me to my favorite part. Because the bed is raised, there is a full-sized lockable trunk that doubles as a cooler in the bed of the truck! It is a safe, reliable, car/truck combination.
