First of all, every time I see my car in a parking lot, I get a little frisson of joy at how much better it looks that the other cars on the lot. It handles well, has decent fuel economy for a 2011 vehicle, and has great cargo space. The back seat has excellent leg and headroom, which is very important since my son is already 5'-7" and hasn't even become a teenager yet. We tested several different makes and models, and this was far and away my back-seat tester's first choice. For work lunches, I can seat three in the back more comfortably than most coworkers' cars. Maintenance costs are pleasantly low, as well.

2006 Hyundai ElantraSue - Tucson, AZ07/11/2014
The car was first reasonably priced, it's maintenance is basics, it's dependable like a habit! It's a little small for a family of 5 but hey what isn't nowadays unless you can afford SUV. It is good on mileage and it happens to be the third Hyundai I have owned. LOVE Hyundai!
Great car, excellent mpg!
2014 Hyundai ElantraGargoyle Lopez - West Palm Beach, FL01/15/2016
I purchased the 6 speed version for travel 60 miles one way to work. As a long time large truck owner I was reluctant to buy a small car but I needed something better on gas for the commute. It's a nice ride. To my surprise I avg 40 mpg. Stereo is ok seats are ok for maybe up to 2-3 hours of driving and it's actually not a bad looking car for the price. I would buy another one thus far, when the time comes. The cab room is roomy for a sedan and the trunk is large as well.
