The Veloster is really fun to drive, specially after a lifetime of "practical" cars. The price was way less than the other car I was considering, the Mazda Miata, and the Veloster has a backseat. Granted, no one sits there, but it's nice to have a little room for stuff. The car accelerates nicely, specially in "sport" mode. I get decent gas mileage. I really like the safety technology and the media screen. They both are easy to understand and operate. I was worried about the rear window visibility when I bought it, but that hasn't been a problem. But the main thing is that I have fun driving it. I look forward to sunny days with the top down and the radio blasting a tune!

Pros

Power: It accelerates pretty decently, specially in "sport" mode. I can merge no problem at all.
Styling: Sunset Red is hot!! I love this color! I love the 3 doors!
Fuel Economy: Better fuel economy than I thought it's get. I usually get 28 mpg.

Cons

Ride and Handling: The ride is a bit rough on anything other than smooth road, but it handles really well.
Visibility: Slightly less rear window visibility than I'd like, and the corner drivers side pillar can be in the way.
Interior Space: Honestly, I knew what I was getting in to as far as interior and storage space. It's small, but we have another car that can haul whatever. This one is for fun.

I might recommend it for a younger person

Reliability: Has quite a few quirks
Value: Seems cheaply made in my opinion

Fun to drive (6-Speed, manual), versatile, good gas mileage

Pros

Interior Space: Lots of room, front and back. Third door is handy, lots of front legroom.

Cons

Cabin Noise: A bit noisy, consider the rear wheels basically I side the cabin
