You can save close to HALF off of a new Summit (close to $60K new) if you are willing to give up a few miles. Vehicle had around 28K at purchase and what is the difference? V8, ALL options (except video), Harmon Kardon sound, 4 wheel drive...LOADED. Entertainment system works well, common sense with knobs and large touch screen. We would have spent over $7K MORE for a new GC Limited with LESS features. Our sales rep (Donna) had the (known issue) Dashboard replaced @ n/c. Zero issues so far and the V8 gets almost as good milage as the V6 (get the V8 - it works less hard). 20" wheels are tight and firm on road, but obviously stiff off road. Luxury vehicle more like BMW etc. No contest with new (Kia, Hyundai etc.) even USED - Worth it.

Appears to be reliable. Fuel economy bearable. Capable of modest towing. Sure footed (can do mild off-roading).
In a nutshell, it is quite a bit of vehicle for the price I paid in today's market. While I'm not a fan of electronic automatics, this one seems to shift in a sensible fashion and with no strange anomalies so far. I have already taken the vehicle on a 3k mile road trip, camping out of the back of it for 4 of the 7 days I was on the road and it performed admirably. With 1000 pounds of me and my gear in it and ON it (I've added rood racks), I got 16mpg overall, including some dirt driving and HARD pushing it hard interstates. In normal use with just me and my lady aboard it gets every bit of the 23mpg claimed by Jeep.
Glad I switched

I love the features!! and this car has plenty. From the keyless entry system for the doors and hatch to the Bluetooth and navigation to the adaptive cruise. It just seems that Jeep thought this process through thoroughly. I continue to find new features that make me say........"How smart was that!"
I need an SUV because I travel a lot so I need to haul around a mini household.
To top it all off the vehicle is sharp looking!!!
