Hemi power, Jeep capability

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Matthew Strusinski - Charleston, SC 01/28/2017

I bought the 2008 5.7L Hemi Limited. First, the things that may disappoint you: 1. Models like mine support bluetooth calls, but not music. 2. Throttle Response is slow. 3. You will get about 12mpg city and about 18mpg highway. The reason I bought this particular vehicle: 1. 5.7L V8 power 2. Tows up to 7,000 lbs 3. Comfort and Class 4. Nearly unstoppable (as long as you treat it well) Ask any Wrangler owner and they'll tell you not to buy this vehicle. That's because they're jealous. The 5.7L Hemi engine and super smart all wheel drive can pull a full load. Along a steep highway climb. In heavy rain. With the same confidence that it can cruise around town. And it will make you smile while doing both.

Best keep ever

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee George Clegg - Claremont, CA 07/20/2015

Incredible features in the Overland model best jeep that I have owned which have been many, very smith ride with air suspension and the leather interior is high quality and gorgeous. 4by4 all the features needed, sturdy feel even air conditioned seat oh! And the AAC adaptive cruise control is remarkable and a must have now .

Only Model I'll Own!

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Jennifer Snider - Marietta, GA 07/15/2016

I've loved my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredos ever since I bought my first. Jeep makes their vehicles to last so I am only on my second. I wouldn't have even had to buy this one if someone wouldn't have hit me and totalled my car, although he still would have been running. You just can't kill a Jeep!! The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is the perfect mix of luxury and utility.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overview

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the best offerings in the SUV field, blending crisp on-road driving with the capability to withstand all weather conditions and some off-road capabilities. For buyers seeking comfort for the driver and passengers, but who still want enough rugged utility to handle any situation, the Jeep Grand Cherokee deserves consideration.

Jeep Grand Cherokee History

The first Grand Cherokee debuted in 1993 and continued until 1998. The second generation brought more power and room, while the third generation ensured the technology under the hood was up to snuff. The 2011 Grand Cherokee will welcome Jeep fans with an upscale feel, fuel-efficient driving, phenomenal steering, and a spacious interior not seen in previous generations.

How It Drives

As a vehicle that has enough handling and room for both families and commuting, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is built to ensure drivers are equipped with enough utility for any situation. This versatility is supported by upscale comfort for passengers in both urban and highway settings. With more sophisticated steering, driving on roads feels dynamic while still retaining the off-road capabilities. The Grand Cherokee can effectively handle all sorts of scenarios - it can drive just fine on slippery rocks and mud, or grip with the correct wheel if it has to go through snow.

Used Jeep Grand Cherokee Value

For first generation vehicles the cost of ownership will ensure you are at a mechanic often, especially if you are going to use it for more than commuting or grocery shopping. Instead, more recent generations will ensure that the vehicle is a good balance of power and comfort for long drives or everyday use.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Standard Features

All recent Jeep Grand Cherokees come equipped with 3.6L V6 engine in four-wheel drive. A new independent suspension system smooths out the ride. Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, cruise control, fog lights, keyless ignition, dual-zone air conditioning, and a 6-speaker stereo system that works off of satellite radio. All in all, a great entertainment system to provide maximum comfort to its drivers and passengers in the family-size urban SUV. Storage space, however, is exchanged for comfort - people who need an SUV with a larger cargo hold may want to explore other options.
