Was looking for a SUV and actually went to look at Explorers. Wife noticed the Sorentos parked next to the Explorers so we inquired about them and we ended up test driving it. We were sold after the first mile. It has as much interior room as the Explorers and plenty of power and has a similar look. The interior is well done and quiet as well. For the price difference between to two it was a no brainer after we drove it. We have been pleasantly surprised the more we drive the vehicle! Would recommend the Sorento to anyone thinking about an SUV.
This CAR is awesome. I enjoy the LOW mileage whether driving to work or on the road. This CAR drive smoothly and I really enjoy the auto start features especially where it is cold. I love everything about my Kia. I also enjoy voice command that is available for yoU to CALL WITHOUT HANDLING YOUR CELL PHONE AND CONTROL OF THE RADIO. WONDERFUL CAR.
I have a 2011 Kia Sorento, base model, but with all of the bells and whistles I feel like I have a luxury addition! The Sorento is great on gas mileage. I am able to drive a little over 400 miles between each fill up. I have owned my car since September of 2016 and the gas light has never come one. I fill it up when I get down to 30-50 miles to empty. The only cons I can think of for this car is that the truck isn't automatic so it makes it difficult to get groceries in the back when you're carrying them. The seats don't provide good lumbar support either, but I've added a pillow for comfort. Other than those minor things I think the Kia Sorento is a wonderful first SUV.
