Generation Overview

Unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, the Lexus ES-350 premiered with the 2013 model year on the same shared platform as its predecessor shared with the Toyota Camry, despite the similarities in wheelbase to the Toyota Avalon. The Remote Touch interior interface was added, providing an alternative to touch-screen interfaces. The sixth generation also included an ES-300H hybrid model as well as an ES-250 model that is only sold overseas. Premium car at a reasonable price.

It is a Lexus and has been well maintained. It reflects the Lexus focus on style and value.

  • Cabin Noise: Nice and quiet on the highway.
  • Cost to Maintain: No nickel - diming. The car is well put together and uses quality materials
  • Ride and Handling: Comfortable ride and great road feel on poor road surfaces.

quality, luxury and RELIABILITY

the car is solid, technology is seamless, safety features made my insurance cheaper than my Maxima, style and the smoothest ride, it could use a little more power but the auto shift feature gives decent torque.

  • Cabin Noise: very quite on the road.
  • Cost to Maintain: just took it in for oil change inspection and tire rotation $100. for a luxury car it is recommended to use regular gas so it’s nice not to have to spend so much at the pump and the gas mileage is pretty good for a 6 cylinder
  • Dashboard: elegant, no cheap faux wood finishes, high quality appearance and dash stitching.

  • Power: not a maxima off the line but not bad either
