Generation Overview

Unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, the Lexus ES-350 premiered with the 2013 model year on the same shared platform as its predecessor shared with the Toyota Camry, despite the similarities in wheelbase to the Toyota Avalon. The Remote Touch interior interface was added, providing an alternative to touch-screen interfaces. The sixth generation also included an ES-300H hybrid model as well as an ES-250 model that is only sold overseas. The 2016 model year saw a facelift which included changes to the grille, changes to the headlights and taillights and fog lights to better accent the new grille design and chrome.
