This little SUV is perfect for me 6'0 woman, and I can fill up the 13 gallon tank once every two weeks. My pets love that the seats fold down, and I can fit a large crate in there no problem.

I really liked the options available on the Outlander Sport and the body styling is much more aggressive than the CR-V. The car drives comfortably which helps make an hour long commute quite bearable.

Reviews for 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

Overall Rating

4.1 out of 5 (14 reviews)

Perfect SUV for someone with no or small family.

I am a taller person who was looking for a fuel economic car that I did not have to crouch into. This little SUV is perfect for me 6'0 woman, and I can fill up the 13 gallon tank once every two weeks. My pets love that the seats fold down, and I can fit a large crate in there no problem.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Smaller SUV doesn't use a whole lot of gas.
  • Cargo Space: Seats fold down, lots of room for cargo (pets).
  • Value: Under 20,000 SUV with a nice body style.

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: Hard to talk over Bluetooth going 60mph, lots of road noise.
  • Ride and Handling: Shocks are not very great, you feel every bump and crack in the road.
  • Power: 4 cylinders means less gas, but you don't get up and go.

Great crossover with style and features

I was looking at the Honda CR-V but felt it was too plain for my tastes. I really liked the options available on the Outlander Sport and the body styling is much more aggressive than the CR-V. The car drives comfortably which helps make an hour long commute quite bearable.

Pros

  • Ride and Handling:
  • Styling:
  • Technology and Entertainment:

Better than expected

Overall great performance, I expected a bit more of a clunky drive kind of like how the eclipse drives, but nothing I imagined, the car drives amazingly, even on the expressway, you can barely feel the road beneath you, nor can you hear the sound of yourself driving the expressway. Overall, would recommend, at least test drive it.

Pros

  • Ride and Handling: The handling and ride was probably one of the smoothest experiences I've ever had.
  • Interior Space: Nice and roomy, even for the passengers.
  • Styling: It's got a very slick design almost like the lancer.
