I had to buy this car in a hurry because my previous Oulander of 13 yrs bit the dust. The price was good and so were the features for the price. If you can get the full-size Outlander I suggest that. Handles better and is bigger. This car gets the job done, has updated features and isn't that bad. Mitsubishi makes a relaible vehicle if you keep up the maintenance.

Pros

Reliability: My last Outlander lasted 13years. This runs like a charm. I'm expecting this one to also with regular car maintenance.
Styling: Great style and colors
Weather Versatility: Great in the snow with 4x4

Cons

Ride and Handling: Is a little "jerky" when it hits bumps, feel like it lacks stability control. My last Outlander handled a lot better
Power: If you're used to a V6 a 4 cylinder is hard to get used to.
Technology and Entertainment: Speakers suck. Poor sound quality. My last outlander had Rockford Fosgate sound system. WAY better than the cheap factory speakers.

Pros

Cabin Noise: extra quiet even at higher speeds.
Reliability
Fuel Economy: I can get 450-500 miles easily on one take. excellent road trip vehicle.

Cons

Interior Space: I do wish there was a little more cargo space. Not a deal breaker, but could definitely use more.
Seat Comfort: Again, not a deal breaker, but if you're going on a 5+ hour trip, you may want to bring some extra cushions.

Like the title says, "So far so good!" Just took it on a 1500+ mile road trip and it performed impeccably. It does have a CVT transmission so it does accelerate slower than most cars. Feels like it's stuck in mud unless you jam on the gas, then it takes off.

Pros

Cabin Noise: Very quiet so far.
Seat Comfort: Not as stiff as a lot of people on the web complain about. I have a bad back and it was just fine.

Cons

Ride and Handling: Seems a bit stiff on the bumpy parts of the road. Otherwise it's smooth as silk when driving on a nicely paved Highway.
