2013 Nissan AltimaGail - Santa Monica, CA02/27/2015
It's really a great car but there's a problem with the power steering pump that causes it to make a high pitched beeping noise at low speeds. So when you're stuck in traffic and the pump starts beeping and whining, it's enough to make you want to scream. Nissan dealerships refuse to fix it. Major disappointment.
One of the best!
2011 Nissan AltimaTodd Waters - Colorado Springs, CO05/13/2015
I owned this car for three years. It was a wonderful vehicle; completely reliable and has a high resale value. In fact, they depreciate slower than almost any comparable car out there. The Altima was reliable, smooth, fast, and worked beautifully. I would recommend this car to anyone and everyone! One caveat is that it isn't the best in the snow. However, with the right snow tires, it would drive very well.
Great Daily Driver
2010 Nissan AltimaClinton Hill - Columbus, GA03/25/2017
This car offers a lot of reliability while also being fun to drive. Though it is a coupe, I still have plenty of storage space for when I go camping or go grocery shopping. Oh and did I mention the fun? At around 270 hp this car has enough punch to make you sink into your seat a little when you rev up the engine on those open highways. The transmission shifts smooth as butter as well. When you put the power down in a turn (corner) you do experience some torque steer so that's something that heavy footed drivers will have to learn to mitigate. The suspension has a stiff racy feel, which can sometimes be a pain when driving over speed bumps, but this tight suspension is also what allows me to turn quickly and trust the car.
