Generation Overview

Unveiled at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, the second generation of the Nissan Armada went on sale in August of that year with the 2017 model year. Based on the Nissan Patrol and the Infiniti QX80, the new generation of the Armada became longer and wider, though the wheelbase and height were somewhat reduced from the prior generation. This generation also saw an update in the transmission, moving to a more fuel-efficient seven-speed automatic transmission. The addition of the Endurance V8 provided more torque and better acceleration.
