I have about 1100 miles on the truck so far and am very pleased. The truck is just what I expected. Quality appears excellent. Interior ride and feel is perfect for me.
I am averaging 16.5 mpg, mix of city and highway. I knew going in the mileage was not a strong point and am not dissappointed but hope that as the truck breaks in, I will get better.
I am surprised at how strong the engine is. I also read reviews about a large turning circle, but I have not found this to be a problem at all.
One reason I purchased the 2012 (rather than wait for a redesign) was because the Frontier was rated so high and the design has been around for a while. Tried and true, so I expect few problems. Time will tell...
Sun Visor allows sun through on left side of windshield. Terrible design and dangerous. Transmission slips and thuds occasionally. In fact just infrequent enough that the Nissan dealership can't seem to pinpoint the trouble. Even after replacing control parts.

This truck handles very well in the 4HI and 4LOW 4 wheel drive settings. I feel safe driving it on any icy, snowy road. It has also gotten me out of muddy areas a few times already. It can handle towing a decent sized load without altering the gas mileage much. The style of the truck just looks cool. It is modern and the interior is sleek. The is a lot of storage on the inside. The seats fold up in great ways to carry more cargo. It can handle everything I need it to do, yet not be so large that I can't find a parking space for it. Convenient, practical, nice looking...don't think I could want anything else!
