2012 Nissan FrontierAmos Watson Jr - tampa, FL07/23/2016
Stylish, tough, comfortable, way over powered but shines in the mud because of it. City fuel economy could be better even though it's 4x4. Contra fully loaded which is great. Stylish Leatherseats and trim, sunroof, 7 blade towing package, Rockford Phosgate system, blue tooth, Bilstein shocks, Rhino lined bed, tie down railing system. 3 pros does not do this truck justice. I bought this after seeking my 4x4 lifted wrangler jk
I owened a chevy silverado and for a single woman that was just to much truck and took up to much space and huge footprint on this earth...totally unnecessary in my book for this planet unless it is being used as a work truck..but my nissan much smaller and compact but still roomy enough for a man or woman and can be used for hauling..;.already made so many trips moving friends, dump trips, building materials...so yes if every family needs a truck do yourself a favor get one like this...has a good size engine but doesn't drink fuel like the big models, can fit four people if necessary nice computer blue tooth easy to navigate even for someone not so computer savy ...the handsfree speaker that hooks phone up always connects your phone....
With the backup camera, it is easier to park than a full-size truck, but you sit up higher than a car so still have a truck feel. It has a tonneau cover, so items can be relatively securely stored in the bed. For Interstate driving where cruise control is appropriate, it appears to have enough power to drive through mountains. The four-wheel drive is easy to turn on and off.
Nissan Frontier Overview
The Nissan Frontier is a mid-size pickup truck that, relative to a full-size truck, offers great cargo hauling and off-road capabilities, and is easy-to-drive.
Nissan Frontier History
Introduced in 1998, the Nissan Frontier is rugged, durable, and has had surprising longevity. After the second generation was introduced in 2005, more changes were made under the hood than to the frame.
How It Drives
Though the engine may have been a great choice in 2005, a 2.4L four-cylinder engine has not stood the test of time. Thankfully, with updates to more powerful engines available, any used model can be improved to suit today's standards and be more competitive against other trucks.
Used Nissan Frontier Value
The Nissan Frontier is an economic and popular choice for consumers who need towing capability regularly, but do not need the full-size pickup to do it. Due to the lack of performance updates and outdated design, the Nissan Frontier is losing ground to the likes of the Toyota Tacoma and the Chevrolet Colorado.
Nissan Frontier Standard Features
Nissan Frontier models come standard with 2.4L four-cylinder engines. For anyone seeking more towing capacity, the 3.3L V6 engine was a solid upgrade option. All-wheel drive is standard, as is automatic transmission.
