Summarized by Skye

The 2019 Nissan Frontier is praised for its reliability, interior space, and power, though it faces mixed reviews on fuel efficiency and technology. Its comfortable ride and low maintenance costs appeal to buyers, but the cabin noise and outdated tech detract from the experience. It suits those seeking a durable mid-size truck with few frills.

2019 Nissan Frontier
Simple and Reliable
Pros

Reliability

It's simple and old school so there's not much to break

Cost to Maintain

I have an Infiniti with the same family of engine and transmission that has never needed more than regular oil changes throughout its life. So I trust this truck to also cost basically nothing to maintain

Power

On paper, it may not seem powerful, but this truck is light and the V6 has plenty of low end torque so it feels plenty powerful
Cons

Technology and Entertainment

Apple car pay would be nice, but I also just use my phone

Fuel Economy

Old school engine will last forever but fuel economy is not as good as newer rivals

2019 Nissan Frontier
The little things
Pros

Power

It pulls a trailer like a champ.

Reliability

I'm sure this will be a solid truck for me for many years.

Ride and Handling

It handles well for a mid sized truck.
Cons

Cabin Noise

It's a loud engine for sure

Cost to Maintain

This truck was sold to me with very low milage, but the tires and battery had to be replaced in the first two months. That says more about the dealership and not the truck.

Fuel Economy

For a mid sized truck, this model gets poor gas milage. The price to pay for the V-6.
