My Nissan Frontier is an extended cab, four cylinder, five-speed light duty little truck that is cute and fun to drive, but even with no loads, struggles to pull hills. On freeways though, it will clip along at high end speed limits and doesn't appear to be buffeted by wind. The cab heats and cools quickly, is conveniently outfitted for cups, and there is even some built-in storage in the cab. It is great for quick trips to the home improvement center (which is why I purchased it), but tall folks beware - there isn't much head or legroom. At 36,000 miles, it has also developed a lot of squeaks that I was told are normal. Gas mileage is a bit les than might be expected, but it is not a guzzler. Other than the squeaks, I have not had one problem with it.
Sun Visor allows sun through on left side of windshield. Terrible design and dangerous. Transmission slips and thuds occasionally. In fact just infrequent enough that the Nissan dealership can't seem to pinpoint the trouble. Even after replacing control parts.
