Great Car

This car got me through one of the worst winters in Western Wyoming in history. We had a lot of snow. This car handles fantastic on slick roads. I never got stuck. It also rides like a luxury car. I have the 3.6 L. With the six cylinder engine. The car is also loaded with options.

Outback in the CT

Great value for your money! This is our second Subaru and it has always been reliable for us any season. My wife works nights as an RN and I have always recognized the fact that we need a car that has: a. AWD - we need all those tires to be turning especially during snow storms b. higher ground clearance - when she gets off from work during winter, she doesn't need to shovel the snow surrounding the car in the parking lot first to be able to drive home, she just drives home straight c. good gas mileage - we don't own a gas station you know... oops d. better features - heated side view mirrors, heated windshield wipers, heated seats, DRL, fog lamps, rear spoiler with 3rd brake light... gee those pamper us... e. 5/5 crash test rating - we have a car that has front airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags... something a lot of cars don't have... something that we are hoping and praying that we will never use... but if we have to, it is there for us f. lower cost to own - the other AWDs within its class are more expensive to own g. reliability - it is a Subaru... most reputable stores would still retail them with a warranty and offer a great extended warranty even if it over 100K miles

So far, mixed feelings

I love how the vehicle rides, it's performance, it's handling, it's mileage, and almost everything else about it (the base stereo is kinda disappointing having no AUX in). If it weren't for constant minor front-end alignment problems and a pair of bad oil leaks, I'd have given her a full five stars.
