Bought it with 33000 miles and it felt like a new car. Went on vacation in the mountains and the 2.5 4 cylinder had plenty of power. Never had a car made with so many "common sense" features. Love it!

Safe, dependable, stylish, it provides ample room, tremendous safety features--and is stunningly sure footed. In our mountain winters, two things move in snow and ice: Subarus and the Snow Plow. The Subarus lead the plow down the mountain, in variably.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) This vehicle is great for everything that you need to do. We have two kids and two large dogs, everyone fits in just fine and with the roof rack, there is plenty of room for our bags on long trips. I have the tow package on mine 2.5L and can tow my small boat (max is around 2klbs) and it tows it just fine. We live in Florida so the car is under some extreme heat for most of it's life and handles it just fine, esp. with the aircon running 24/7. The handling of the vehicle is magnificent, it can really take corners and it will give you a lot of confidence if you have to swerve quickly to avoid a crash. Overall the car is amazing, the only issue is these boxer engines are known for eating oil. We have to add 1 qt around every 2500 miles

The Outback performs it's best in snow. With a feel and look of a luxury cross over. Plenty of back seat space and leg room. Ample trunk space and more when seats fold down. Number one in safety. Use regular gas. Back up camera and satellite radio. Worth a look.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) Fuel efficient, road hugging, spacious, nice amenities and very comfortable. With its 6-speed switchable automatic/manual transmission its at home on the highway as on two lane windey mountain roads -- a real pleasure to drive; I thought I would miss the 5-speed of my Scion xA but the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters fill in just fine. My driving is 50/50 Interstate and surface and my Outback consistently gets around 30mpg. With the rear seats lowered it has more cargo area than my son's Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Colorado's Car!

For living in the west, specifically Colorado, Subaru Outbacks are THE car to own. Yes, I understand that station wagons are not "hip" or cool, but this car is not about being hip or cool, but rather being able to get where you want to go up in the hills safely and with little trouble. And speaking of little trouble, any Subaru, with its all-wheel-drive, will allow you to get around town or the state in snowy weather, with little or no trouble. The Outback is safe and one of the most reliable vehicles out there!

Great Quality at a fair price

Great Car

This car got me through one of the worst winters in Western Wyoming in history. We had a lot of snow. This car handles fantastic on slick roads. I never got stuck. It also rides like a luxury car. I have the 3.6 L. With the six cylinder engine. The car is also loaded with options.
