This is our first Toyota, and I am glad we purchased it! We were torn between the Highlander and a 2010 Honda Pilot (my wife and I are diehard Honda owners). After test driving both several times, we found the steering to be tighter , front seating comfort to be better, better acceleration, MUCH better center console/dash design, and road noise to be far less pronounced in the Toyota versus the Honda. The second row seating also seemed better in comfort and "knee room" to be lengthier in the Toyota. The change out section for the 2nd row seating is a nice little feature as well to turn the seats into two buckets or a full bench. The only downfall really was the 3rd row seating space which is cramped for adults in the Toyota. This is where the Honda was better, as the 3rd row seats were easier to enter/exit, and the leg room was sufficient for adults. Regardless of that, the other features were far more refined in the Toyota so we went with it, never to look back. Gas mileage is decent on the 2wd model for a larger suv/xover, we are averaging 22 mpg in the daily grind. The Toyota is a bit pricier in comparison, but well worth it and I highly recommend considering one if you are in the market for a cross-over or SUV.
Meets all expectations

When I found this car online, I was actually considering the Rav-4. To me, this was a better value - more cargo room, back seat area is larger, etc. I went from driving a performance luxery car to this - and the pick up was very impressive. finish out is nice and simple, and has most of the bells and wistles in just the basic model.

Great deal on one of the most dependable SUVs in the market!
Toyota builds nearly every type of car for every kind of driver, and used models are highly sought after, thanks to their reputation. Whether you’re looking for a used sedan, SUV, pickup truck, minivan, sports car, or fuel-efficient hybrid, there’s almost certainly a Toyota out there for you.
Vehicles with third-row seating have plenty of features for nearly every type of driver. For families that need a great family-friendly vehicle, SUVs, crossovers, and minivans with third-row seats give passengers roomy interiors and still have enough power to haul plenty of vacation equipment or moving supplies.
