There is way to much road noise in this car (sounds like a window is cracked open all the time) and structurally I think it has some issues as well-- creaks when I go over road humps and the like. I also don't like how many leaves get stuck in the cracks between the car and the moon/sun roofs and in the back around the lift gate.

Although the car seems sound mechanically and roomy, Toyota missed the boat when it comes to ride comfort and road noise. The cloth seats are hard as a park bench and very uncomfortable on long trips. The non powered passenger seat needs more adjustments. There are no sun visor extenders so the sun coming from the side is right in your face. There is no glove box light, and the rear light is on the side, so if you have packages next to it, you get no light when the tail gate is opened. It needs A/C & D/C plug adapters as my previous Chevrolet had. The nineteen inch tires will be expensive to replace, $700 to $1,000 per set of four. It needs rear bumper sensors, as the back up screen can't be seen when the sun shines on it.

Depending on what you are looking for, this car delivers. Space to take 5 adults w/o crowding, roomy storage/trunk covered, seats fold down to haul large items, easy clean interior but not cheap looking as some have said. The v-6 is the best choice as the numbers show, with only 1 mpg difference. But the power difference isn't even close! 0 to 60 in 6 second times. Climbs hills with ease. Holds value well. Easy to enter or exit. On a recent trip to Cambria my mileage was 26 overall. Passing cars at freeway speeds was exhilarating and quick.
