This was a good value for the money. It had just over 10,000 miles on it and is loaded. It has every option we could need except for Homelink and Navigation. A spare clicker and Waze met those needs. The car is fun to to drive and the Turbo Charged 2.0 L has plenty of power. If you are not careful when starting off, you can easily spin the tires. We traded another popular 2 seater convertible for this one and while we did not sacrifice the fun factor, we gained in the "comfort" factor. We are averaging in the mid 20's on miles per gallon for city.
It handles well and is powerful even though it's small. My husband bought the same car (same color too) just two years newer.

I love my bug, but I have had several problems with it. This car has been my dream car since I was a child. That is why I'm so disapointed that I am going to get rid of it before my warenty runs out. I can't sfford this money pit. Every little thing that goes wrong it has to go to the dealer. I'm use to cars that my husband can work on no problem, not this car. This car has been fun, but I will never buy a VW again.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
