I always loved the Bettle retro design and the quality of VW interior. I drove golf and passat station wagon for the last 15 years. So I went for the Beetle this time. I am greatly disappointed! If you are short and with small feet (61/2, not that small!) you will have hard time adjusting to the break and gas pedals. Shifting to break takes longer, as the break is further to the left and is very high comparing to the gas pedal. Since I am 5'3" i struggle to have comfortable position in a deep seat, and reach to pedals in the same time. I have to drive with the pillow behind my back!! And I don't see well out of the car! Review mirrors are designed to be pretty but they are too big and they blocked my view on several occasions.
I love driving my bug, for the most part. It is small and compact, so if you are coming from a car or SUV it will take getting used to the smaller quarters, but it scoots around town easily, fits into parking spots easily and is economical on gas! The cons: driving a stick shift in bumper to bumper traffic is the pits and since I have the convertible, there is a blind spot for me when trying to back out of parking spaces or make left turns from forked roads. If you have kids and need space of car seats, this is not the car for you. But, if you love the drive a sporty car to scoot around town this is a fantastic, reliable car!

Great little car, fun to drive and gets great fuel mileage
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
