5 reasons to buy the 2022 Acura NSX
1. High performance in a small package
Simply put, the 2022 Acura NSX is fast and powerful. It has a nine-speed gearbox, 600 horsepower, and 496 lb-ft of torque. But that’s not all! The 3.5L V6 engine powers the rear axle, while each front wheel has its own electric motor, enabling smooth starts and consistent high performance. The suspension and fast-shifting transmission round out the performance specs.
2. A pleasurable ride
With 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels, as well as all-wheel drive, the 2022 NSX is a master handler, with excellent grip, agility, and steering. On top of that, the electric assist means near-instant acceleration with a zero-to-60 time of three seconds. An extra bonus: the 2022 NSX's acceleration and cruising sounds are a powerful add-on to the driving experience, offering sports car enthusiasts deeper satisfaction with their ride.
3. A beauty to look at
The 2022 Acura NSX will make you the talk of the neighborhood. First, there’s the look of it: this supercar is designed to look like it belongs on the track. Next, the coupe-style body was also manufactured in several eye-catching color options, including a fiery orange, a sporty yellow, and a gorgeous royal blue (along with classic black, white, and grey).
4. High-performance materials
The 2022 NSX uses carbon fiber strategically to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics, notably in the front lip and rear spoilers, side sills, rear diffuser, roof, and floor. If you want more sporty touches, look out for the optional brakes that take you from the standard two-piece floating ventilated disc brakes (14.5 inches in the front and 14.2 inches on the rear wheels) to carbon ceramic brakes. The upgraded brakes — 15 inches up front and 14.2 inches in the back — are cross-drilled and ventilated, offering superior handling and stopping.
5. Surprisingly spacious
The 2022 Acura NSX is a roomy two-seater where it counts, with legroom at 42.9 inches and headroom at 38.3 inches. Just don’t have your heart set on bringing anything more than a couple of grocery bags home; cargo space clocks in at a tiny 4.4 cu-ft. Let's face it, though, you're not after an NSX for its hauling capabilities.
