Audi’s compact sports car bows out gracefully
The 2023 Audi TT brings with it the last year of production for Audi’s compact sports car, but with subtle upgrades from previous years, it remains a compelling and surprisingly practical package. Four-seat coupe or two-seat convertible (‘Roadster’) body styles give a choice of convenience or excitement but both are fun to drive with premium interiors and a punchy turbocharged engine.

- The Base trim has been discontinued for 2023.
5 reasons to buy the 2023 Audi TT
1. Choice of body styles
The 2023 Audi TT has a taut and athletic appearance, whether in coupe or open-top forms. The new-for-2023 18-inch Y-design alloy wheels add an even sportier touch, but if they are too subtle, look for the available S Line Competition package that includes 19-inch rims, black exterior trim, a fixed rear wing, and red brake calipers.
2. A premium interior
The interior of the 2023 TT is a true highlight. The design is playful yet slick, with obvious round turbine-like air vents that display digital heating and air conditioning functions in the center and a 12.3-inch LCD digital instrument cluster that can also show the infotainment functions. There is also Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity and the leather seats put you low down in the car—a perfect set-up for driving fun.
3. Efficient performance
Even though this is a sports car with more than enough performance for all your driving adventures, the 2023 Audi TT uses its fuel effectively. The 228-hp turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with its 258 lb-ft of torque can get from zero to 60 in 5.2 seconds – 5.5 for the TT Roadster – but yet achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg combined for both models on 18-inch wheels.
4. Standard all-wheel drive
Whatever model you choose, all versions of the 2023 Audi TT are fitted with the company’s trademark quattro® all-wheel drive system for improved traction on dry and wet roads. The brake-based torque vectoring system ensures the 2023 TT keeps on its chosen line and the all-wheel drive set-up gives four-season capability. The seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic® automatic transmission has a manual function with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for those driving scenarios when you want to take control.
5. Special farewell model
The release of a special model marks the end of production for Audi’s compact sports car – in combustion-engine form at least. Limited to the US, the 2023 Audi TT Roadster Final Edition features exclusive Goodwood Green pearl effect paint, an electro-hydraulically operated gray fabric roof, Platinum gray matte exterior S Line body details, and 20-inch 10-Y-spoke forged wheels. When the roof is down, other drivers will spot the Palomino Brown leather interior, carbon fiber inlays, and special S leather sports seats with neck heaters.
