2021 Audi TT brings elegance and fun to the sport coupe segment
Available as a four-seat coupe or a two-seat convertible, the 2021 Audi TT is equipped with all-wheel drive and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The TT is built in just one well-appointed trim level, with a side dish of S Line Competition package served as an option with a fixed rear wing, sport suspension, and sportier exterior accessories.
Unlike some sport coupes on the market, the TT routes its power through a seven-speed automatic transmission to drive all four wheels, giving it an advantage in inclement weather. Combine that with the 19-inch wheels and summer tires from the S Line Competition package, and the car will be even more fun on twisty roads.
The lively 2021 Audi TT has personality and style to match, with the exemplary handling you expect from the brand. It doesn’t disappoint, especially when you let it off the leash away from city traffic.

What We Like
Driving: It’s nearly impossible to get behind the wheel of a 2021 TT without breaking out in a wide grin. Traction and handling are superb, and the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 220 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque provides plenty of power for its size. The braking system inspires confidence and the handling is breathtakingly good.
Interior: Upscale, refined materials are one of the hallmarks of the Audi brand. The TT is styled after Audi’s larger R8, and mimics its streamlined and modern vibe. Choosing the coupe body style brings seating for four (although the back seat is best suited for short trips) and the convertible is set for two. In either body style, full leather upholstery is standard, and convertible owners will appreciate the neck heaters on chilly days.
Technology: An elegant car like a TT calls for a sophisticated audio system, and Audi chose a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system for model year 2021. Smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, a navigation system, and a satellite radio are all standard. The pillars are thin and provide excellent outward visibility, augmented by blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning and parking sensors.
What Needs Improvement
Utility: To be fair, utility might not be a key criteria if you're looking at a car the size of the TT. While the coupe version's 12 cubic feet of storage isn’t much, the 7.5 cubes in the convertible body style borders on the ludicrous. Unfortunately, small-item storage options are also quite limited.
